Katie Goings is the newest member of our DJ staff and can be heard on Sunday afternoons from 2 until 6. You’ll be hearing her during the week a lot as well this summer when she fills in during vacation days.
God has worked miraculous things in Katie’s life. She’s originally from the Chicago-land area, and hadn’t planned on ever moving to the Black Hills but God changed her heart and through her then fiancée, she moved to Rapid City in 2005. She enjoys swimming, singing and theater. Katie is part of the worship team at her church, is in charge of the drama team, and has been part of The Women Lawyer’s Club play for the past three years. Katie also has a BA in Communicationsfrom Judson University in Illinois where she met her future husband Kyle, a Youth Minister at Bible Fellowship Church. Much of Katie’s life is filled with working side by side with her husband in the Youth Ministry and at their church. There is a great passion in her heart to reach teenagers, being compelled by her own terrible teen years. She also can’t wait to go on another missions trip! Katie loves working as a DJ at POWER 107.3 KSLT and is eager to use this energy for the Lord on the air!
