Hills
Alive Free For All
KLMP's
annual Free for All is rescheduled
for this Friday, May 9th from 6am-6pm. The
Free for All is an opportunity for you to invest in the
lives of the thousands of people who will attend Hills Alive
this year. The goal is to raise $25,000 which is about
the cost for the new Jumbo LED screen that we have this
year in the concert area. This will be a great way
for people at the back of the park to be a part of what
is happening on stage! At
KLMP we are asking that you would stand with us this year
with your best possible financial gift. With everyone doing
their part we are going to have another awesome year!

Northern Hills FCU
Community Friend
Through
the Northern Hills Community Friends recognition program,
Northern Hills Federal is working with KLMP and other businesses
to recognize those who make a difference. Any individual,
business or not-for-profit organization that is dedicated
to enriching lives through volunteer, charity, promotion
of a safe and healthy environment or other community involvement
in the Northern Hills or neighboring community, has the
opportunity to be nominated, selected and recognized.
The
SHARE South Dakota
Sturgis, a member of the SHARE Colorado Food Network,
helps families save about 50% on their groceries, and at
the same time, encourages the building of relationships
with their neighbors in the community.
The
program is designed to bring volunteers together to help
provide food at a discounted rate for those participating
in the program. There
are no qualifications. Anyone, regardless of income, can
participate in SHARE. The minimal profits in each share
of food sold go to support this program. Any donations are
used to buy food for a neighbor in the community that needs
help.
During
the holidays, organizations and individuals can order and
purchase SHARE food baskets that are then distributed to
families in need. Last holiday season, many individuals,
businesses and organizations purchased SHARE Thanksgiving
and Christmas packages to donate to needy families. Due
to the generous donations, many families in the Sturgis
community, who would otherwise have gone without a holiday
meal, were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
Volunteers do all the delivering for this program.
For

or how to purchase a SHARE Thanksgiving and/or SHARE Christmas
package, call the SHARE Program in Sturgis at (605)
