Walking in Grace, Inc. - The School of Contemplative Life (SCL) - March 5-6

Rapid City Area School District – Free Developmental Screening- March 8-9 
Free developmental screenings at Jefferson School for children ages three through five. These developmental screenings check a child’s development in the areas of language and articulation, concept development, hearing, vision, and motor skills. Preschool children ages three though five will be screened March 8 and 9. Parents who live in the Rapid City Area School District can make an appointment by calling 605-394-1813.

Post 311 American Legion Monthly Dinner – March  13
American Legion Post 311 presents our monthly steak night. Open to the public to come enjoy a great steak or chicken dinner from 5-7 pm. SD Soil Health Coalition Webinar – “Beginning Producer workshop” – March 16
The South Dakota Soil Health Coalition will host a Beginning Producer Workshop on March 16, 12-2:30pm MT/ 1-3:30 pm CST. This free webinar will cover various funding options and their requirements, risk management and business development options, programs to provide assistance and funding for conservation efforts, and ways to build operational and financial stability through soil health practices. GriefShare - Weekly Seminar Support Group - March 21st thru June 20
GriefShare, a special help seminar and support group for people experiencing grief and loss, will be held on Sunday afternoons at Rapid alley United Methodist Church beginning March 21 4:30 pm. GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include “Is This Normal?” “The Challenges of Grief,” “Grief and Your Relationships,” “Why?” and “Guilt and Anger.” Meetings will be held at 5103 longview. The Black Hills Pregnancy Center is hosting "Ladies Tea with a Purpose," a fundraiser for the Center. Event will be held at the Alex Johnson Hotel with 2 events at 1:00 or 4:00, Tickets are $40 each. “Variations on H.O.P.E," is an optimistic smorgasbord of original all-ability music, dance, song, poetry, and theatre creations that reflect on the idea of hope. Christian Homeschool Conference of South Dakota – May 7-8
The 15th annual Christian Homeschool Conference of South Dakota runs May 7th and 8th at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. This will be a re-energizing weekend of great presenters, workshops, kid's activities, a big vendor hall, and more. Whether you're new to homeschooling or a veteran home educator, you will be inspired by speakers like FamilyMan Todd Wilson and author Durenda Wilson.
