The crew of the
USS Tennessee BB43, a World War Two battleship will hold its annual Reunion at
the Best Western Ramkota Hotel, Rapid
City, South Dakota
from August 19-24, 2008. The USS Tennessee received minor damage December 7,
1941 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The ship was swiftly back in
action after necessary repairs and refitting at the U.S. Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington.
The crew of the USS Maryland, and another World War II Battleship have also
been invited to attend this year’s reunion.
Reunion attendees will be taking tours of the nearby local historical
sites. The public may visit with the crew members at the Hospitality Room at
