I wish I could express in words what Pastor Steve has done in my life and many others. His family consisting of wife, and 4 children. Pastor Steve and his wife, Manel, lead the smaller kids Awana group every Wednesday night consisting up to 18 kids. Their kids are also involved in youth group and worship leads. Each month he hosts young adults in his home. Every Saturday morning at 7am he leads a mens prayer group. He continually visits the sick. My wife was in the hospital and he spent the last 6 hours of her life by our side. He has an amazing memory gift particularly of names. I met one couple at church last week and it was their third time coming. They have been trying out various churches and were so impressed that Pastor Steve remembered each of their names. Our church numbers between 250-300 and I believe he knows every person including their kids. He truely expresses the love of God whoever comes through our doors. ~ Dave
I appreciate how Pastor Steve connects not just with adults at our church but children and youth too, including my son who is 6 years old. Pastor Steve is willing to prepare and preach on Sundays but also prepare and teach on Wednesday nights with a group of Cubbies in our Awana club. He is humble and approachable and spurs on people toward love and good deeds through his questions and encouragements. He has been a kind friend to me too. – William
