A night of Poetic and Artistic Works
Calling all writers! Bring a blank page, an open mind, and come ready to participate in an interactive evening of poetry and creative writing at Pure Bean Coffeehouse on Friday, May 16th, from 6-8 PM.
This event is part of the Purpose, Passion, Creation series, founded by local poet Patrick Murphy to serve the community, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through creativity, and unite artists and writers. When we discover God’s Purpose in our lives, it will spark the Passion that leads to Creation.
There will be a free-will donation, with all proceeds going to STARS Pet Rescue, a no-kill animal shelter that services the Black Hills area.
Even if writing isn’t your thing, come check it out and give it a try.
Patrick is organizing a series of writing exercises that will be easy to follow, and they will share their creations with each other.
