Fischer Furniture was originally founded by Sam “Fearless” Fischer in 1949 as a small secondhand store across the street from our present locations on West Main Street in Rapid City. Sam’s business philosophy was to sell quality furniture at the lowest possible prices. Today, his philosophy lives on, and Fischer Furniture remains a locally-owned, third-generation family business with the largest selection of furniture and home furnishings in a four-state area at the guaranteed lowest prices in South Dakota. Style, durability, and value are at the core of everything we do. The Fischer family of stores includes our three furniture stores: Fischer Furniture, our largest store which also includes an appliance and electronics showroom, Fischer Home Galleries, for those who want the perfect designs, and Fischer Clearance Center, for those who love a bargain.
