Since independently releasing I’ll Be The Branches in 2018, Renzema has built a loyal following, literally one fan at a time. Two years later, his Centricity Music debut, Let The Ground Rest, garnered the Michigan native 90 million streams, a spot on Pandora’s “Artist to Watch” list and a GMA Dove Award nomination for “New Artist of the Year.”
The veteran I wish to honor is my husband of 45 years, Peter S. Lopez. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 21 years. He was a hospital and flight medic. He served in Operation Desert Storm stationed in England, providing medical care inflight between the Mid East, Europe and the United States. He has been to 28 countries assisting in providing medical care. He has returned to school (Liberty University) and earned his Master of Divinity in Community Chaplaincy and Pastoral Counseling. Currently, he works for the Rapid City Area Schools as a SPED paraeducator/ instructor at Knollwood Elem. School. There He works with kindergarten and first grade kids. – Elaine
