Vision West ND (VWND), a leading consortium dedicated to the sustainable development of Western North Dakota, is proud to announce the upcoming Summit on Behavioral Health in Energy Country, taking place on June 19 and 20, 2024, at the Astoria Hotel & Event Center in Dickinson, ND. This transformative event aims to bring together professionals, community leaders, and advocates to address the pressing behavioral health challenges facing the region.

The Summit: A Forum for Change

The 2024 Summit on Behavioral Health in Energy Country promises to be a gathering of minds and ideas, focusing on addressing and advancing solutions to behavioral health issues. Over two days, attendees will engage in experiential and clinical storytelling, listen to expert panels, enjoy keynote addresses, and have many networking opportunities.

Event Highlights
• Day 1: Experiential Storytelling will shine a light on personal and community stories, offering insight into the human side of behavioral health challenges and triumphs.
• Day 2: Clinical Storytelling will focus on the scientific and clinical approaches to behavioral health, highlighting the latest research, strategies, and interventions.

Keynote speakers Gaelin Elmore, a motivational speaker and advocate for change, and Jonah Paquette, Psy.D., a respected psychologist and expert on happiness, will lead a roster of distinguished speakers and panelists from a wide range of disciplines related to behavioral health.
