Key Responsibilities:Custodial Duties:Cleaning after worship services on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays.Post-event cleanup and routine fellowship hall maintenance.Regular vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and floor maintenance (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping & rewaxing).Cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, glass areas, dusting woodwork, pianos, railings, and furniture.Repair & Maintenance:Performing general maintenance tasks (filters, lighting, minor repairs).Maintenance of cleaning equipment and usage of lift for lighting changes.Management and coordination of HVAC, camera systems, kitchen, and cleaning equipment repairs.Ordering necessary custodial supplies.Event & Staff Coordination:Overseeing facility preparation and staffing for church events.Opening and closing the church for activities and events.Managing visitor access through QR codes/fobs and conducting facility tours.Overseeing facility use contracts.Qualifications:Previous experience in custodial services, maintenance, or facilities management.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.We seek to fill this role to support our valued part-time custodial staff, who have been handling increased workloads.This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and functionality of our church environment.
