Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teacher as well as Teacher Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our lead teachers in providing high-quality care and education to children aged from infancy through preschool. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and contribute to a positive learning environment rooted in love and support.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
-Provide nurturing care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in age-appropriate play activities.
-Support lead teachers in creating a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
-Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues based on trust, respect, and open communication.
-Collaborate with lead teachers to observe and assess children’s development and progress, documenting observations as needed.
-Assist in implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive social-emotional development and self-regulation skills.
-Support children’s transitions between activities, meals, and rest periods with sensitivity and care.
-Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with children, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Minimum age of 15 years old.
-High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
-Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a child care setting preferred.
-Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
-Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with children, families, and colleagues.
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Commitment to upholding Christian values and integrating biblical teachings into daily interactions and activities.
-CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
